Sep 8th - The Peahen, St. Albans: We hope that everyone has had good summer holidays as we're looking forward to getting back together after our summer break. It's back to the Peahen where we're finding that the early birds like to eat and chat while we play quietly and then some more serious aficianados come to listen as we wind it up a bit for the second set. Whether you're eaters, drinkers or listeners make sure you come along this evening to catch a drop of best (R&B, that is). 8.30pm - 11pm
Sep 15th - The Sunrunner, Hitchin: This pub has always attracted musos in it's crowd, but last time we were here we had guys from two bands listening. It was great to see one guy singing along to Confidence Man (a Jeff Healey number - but not one we've heard other bands play). At the end one fella even helped us load up the gear - and not because he wanted to see the back of us, either! We're obviously doing things about right, so why not come and see us and listen to our electric set? 9pm - 11pm
Sep 30th - The Bear, Stock: This seems to have been an auspicious date in modern history: in 1938 Chamberlain returned from Germany declaring "peace in our time" - got that wrong then. In 1955 James Dean died as he would have liked to live - fast. But in 2010 it is (as always) just 92 days to the New Year; now not a lot of people know that, but you all know where to go this evening 'cos "y'know you need a shot of rhythm 'n blues" and nowhere's better than Out of the Blue at the Bear. 8.30pm - 10.45pm
Oct 7th - The Pear & Partridge, London Colney: No, not up a gum tree nor even up a pear tree, but we're in happy partnership with both the partridge and the pear. If you're still with me so far then stay with me all the way for a visit to hear Out of the Blue at the Pear & Partridge again. 9pm - 11pm
Oct 20th - The Peahen, St. Albans: Sixty three years ago today (when pussy was a cat) the "red scare" kicked into top gear in Washington, as a Congressional committee begins investigating Communist influence in one of the world's richest and most glamorous communities: Hollywood . . . Well the Peahen ain't Hollywood and we're blue, not red, so everything should be set fair for another evening with Out of the Blue. Do come and visit - we'll be "at home" all evening. 8.30pm - 11pm
Nov 25th - The Bear, Stock: I've just had my two granddaughters to stay for the weekend, and they enjoy watching Jungle Book. I must say I enjoy The Bare Necessities, too. So, be like Mowgli and get down to The Bear (of necessity) and join Out of the Blue for another laid back session of acoustic blues. Spot a new face on the bandstand and receive a prize - no it's not Lobby Ludd, but some great guitar from Mick. 8.30pm - 10.45pm
